Animation
What is a zoetrope?
A zoetrope invented in 1834 by William George Horner was created as a little device to produce an illusion movement of a certain action (mainly for cinematic animation movies) for a rapid succession of pictures.
It is demonstrated by beneath the slits, on the inner surface of the cylinder, is a band which has either individual frames from a video/film or images from a set of sequenced drawings or photographs. The faster the rate of spin, the smoother the progression of images. A viewer can look through the wall of the zoetrope from any point around it, and see a rapid progression of images. Because of its design, more than one person could use the zoetrope at the same time.
I did many examples of zoetrope actions. The way I started off by doing it was by getting a paper which had 11 boxes. Each of the boxes were sided from the same level of when an object or person is dropping or growing (for making cinematic actions). So for example of how I did it was I made a small stack of balls, and from the start of the left side I started with one ball then up to the 6th box which ended with 6 balls and then after that I drew the same balls from the same amount on each boxes I did on the right side and put the equal ones onto the left side.

My name is Zekaria Al-Bostani. I'm 17 years old and i'm quarter iraqi, quarter Argentine and also quarter Turkish and i'm a born British citizen. Media is an interesting subject and I have massive passion for it because i've always wanted to do editing and do some videos, because in University I want to study media industrial studies near by future. I have a big passion for Arsenal Fc and support them since I was 3 years old. I am a very socialising person who likes to socialise with many people around and like to play football in 5-a side teams, go clubbing etc at my spare time. I'm an MC (master of ceremonies) and love to talk about my own life within the lyrics I speak out and talk with a confident voice. My biggest inspiration that has always made me never give up my passion of football is Eusebio. Born in Mozambique, he was the first African player to board across Europe and play for Portugal. He showed his talent in the big stage of the World Cup and within his reputation and his fearsome speed and agility he was a player to be recognised and is one of the best players in the history of football and Portugal. Within my life I live, in about 15 years time I would love to be living in Seychelles. Seychelles is a country that is compared to paradise, and has the most beautiful atmosphere with a peaceful harmony. I believe my greatest achievement would be achieving the best performer of prom in 2010 because in the stage I showed my talent to everyone that did know I have the potential to become a great upcoming mc and people who didn't know my talent within. With what I'm following on now, I will work much harder in this life and do everything from my strength to become successful.
